Britney Spears Has Multicolored Hair

Women in Hollywood have to endure scrutiny about their weight, their clothing and especially their hair.  For whatever reason, people are just fascinated by what famous starlets do with their tresses which has spawned some incredible trends over the years.  Most recently, Miley Cyrus shocked fans by chopping off her signature flowing dark brown locks in favor of a short, shaved platinum blonde ‘do.

Now, it’s not quite as shocking as that but Britney Spears debuted a multicolor look this past weekend at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas.  Looking a lot more subdued than Rainbow Brite, Britney was still sporting her golden tone but it was accented by teal, blue and hot pink tips.   

It’s unclear what her motivation was (not that she needs one), but perhaps she’s grown tired of sitting next to the ever colorful (younger) Demi Lovato on the judges panel of the X Factor.  Maybe she wanted to perk things up a bit.

It’s definitely a new look for her but what do you think of it?  It’s not as astonishing as Miley’s big change but it’s still a little funkier than Britney normally goes.  Could she be loosening up a little bit?
