Britney's Support Act Nervo Releases Debut Single: 'We're All No One'

Nervo - a DJ and songwriting duo of sisters Mim and Liv - has written for some of the biggest names in the dance/pop industry in the last six years. Now for the first time, the pair will step in front of the mic and launch themselves as bona fide recording artists.

Mim and Live are best known for writing David Guetta and Kelly Rowland's international Grammy-winning dance hit 'When Love Takes Over' but they've also penned material for Ke$ha, Kylie Minogue, Wynter Gordon, Armin Van Buuren and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Nervo has released two underground club singles of their own but 'We're All No One', featuring A-list dance music producers Afrojack and Steve Aoki, is the twin's first commercial pop release.

Nervo recently performed around North America as an opening act for Britney Spears' massive "Femme Fatale" tour alongside Nicki Minaj and Jessie & The Toyboys. However, the culmination to this point of mainstream breakthrough has been almost 10 years in the making.

Mim and Liv got their first commercial songwriting break when British pop sensation Rachel Stevens recorded and released their song 'Negotiate With Love' back in 2005. The pair also revealed in an interview with auspOp how they were instrumental in helping Ke$ha develop her commercial dance/pop sound.

"She and her management heard a song of ours that we wrote with a DJ called Tom Neville called 'F**k Him He’s A DJ'. 'Ke$h' loved it and so she recorded it, the management loved it and then she flew over to London, stayed at our house and together we developed a more electro dirty sound. Then she went over to America and she killed it," Liv said.

Nervo was eventually signed to Virgin Records to develop as recording artists while they continue to DJ and write for others on the side. Work is still underway for their full-length album but the pair is expected to release their debut single 'We're All No One' with four additional remixes on 6 September.
