‘Bring It On’ Actress Natina Reed Dead After Car Accident
‘Bring It On’ actress and Blacque singer Natina Reed has died at the young age of just 32-years old. As confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter, Reed was crossing an Atlanta street this past Friday night when she was struck and killed by a car.
The driver of the vehicle reportedly called 911 at 10:30pm and was later “determined to be not at fault and there are no charges pending. Preliminary information indicates that Reed was in the roadway on Lawrenceville Highway near Hamilton Road when struck,” the Gwinnett Police Department released in a statement.
Reed was pronounced dead at 10:59pm after being rushed to Gwinnett Medical Center. She leaves behind a ten year old son Tren Brown who she shares with rapper Kurupt. The singer and performer is most notable for her role as Jenelope in the 2000 cheerleading movie ‘Bring It On’, as well as her contributions to the 90’s R&B group Blacque. Members of Blacque have since issued a statement over the death of Natina Reed.

Because of the enormous support of Blaque fans and our love for each another, Blaque officially reunited this fall and we were in the process of working on a new album and a reality show. Natina continuously embodied the pioneering spirit of Blaque and her undeniable creativity touched the hearts of fans everywhere. Natina was a mother, sister, accomplished songwriter, artist and friend. We ask for your prayers at this time for Natina's family. She will forever be missed and her global influence eternally felt. We thank God for the experiences we shared.”
