Brandy and Monica are proof that some duos can’t go wrong. The pair, who have reunited to release another hit single, put on a show and interview for V103’s Conversation/Soul Session in Atlanta. They performed their new single, “It All Belongs to Me,” and took a trip down memory lane while performing their 1998 hit, “The Boy Is Mine.”

They also took time to pay tribute to the late Whitney Houston. Monica sang a stirring cover of Houston’s “You Give Good Love,” while Brandy was too overcome with emotion to finish Whitney’s 1992 superstar smash and trademark song, “I Will Always Love You.” At one point, Monica went over to comfort a visibly shaken Brandy during her rendition.

Vocally, both ladies were at their best, prompting energetic responses from audience members.
