Blues Traveler Releasing New Album for 25th Anniversary

According to a recent press release, Blues Traveler is celebrating their 25^th anniversary with a new album. Titled Suzie Cracks The Whip, the album is scheduled for release on June 26 and is their first on 429 Records. Suzie is Travelers’s 11^th studio album, and promotion for it began this week: on June 25 first with a performance on Live With Kelly, and then on June 26 on radio program Q104 to play new material.

Sam Hollander and Dave “Sluggo” Katz produced Suzie, which also features guest appearances from Ron Sexsmith, Chris Barron of Spin Doctors, and American Idol’s Crystal Bowersox. Track “You Don’t Have to Love Me” is already out, and a deluxe version includes 22 additional minutes of music.

To support the release, Blues Traveler are starting a tour in July. A handful of dates exclusively feature the band, and the remainder include Barenaked Ladies, Cracker, and Big Head Todd & The Monsters. All dates include:
