"Blue Jeans" Video Review

Here’s the official video for Lana Del Rey’s “Blue Jeans”. First Lana released last year a self-made video from old clips gathered from the internet mixed with scenes shot by her with the webcam, and a few days ago leaked the unfinished version of the clip.

The black & white video was directed by Yoann Lemoine, who also directed Del Rey’s video for “Born To Die”. In “Blue Jeans” Lana is bathing in a 50’s Hollywood swimming pool, wearing only a white vintage looking bathing suit. Her boyfriend is played by model Bradley Soileau (also appeared in “Born To Die”), who at some point appears to transform in an alligator as he glides towards Lana. After the thing get a little confusing, she’s making out with him but in the same time she’s pulled underwater and Bradley appears to be cradling her lifeless body.

“Blue Jeans” is the third single from Lana Del Rey’s first major-label album “Born To Die”, which debuted on the second position on the Billboard 200 charts.
