"Blood" Video Review

Pearl Jam the alternative rock band from Seattle released the video for the single Blood, from the band new album” VS.”.

The album's cover art, photographed by Ament, doesn't feature a lama like most of the viewers thought, but a black and white picture of a sheep from a farm in Hamilton, Montana. The cover, according to Ament, is a representation of the band’s self-perception: trapped like sheep on a farm, Ament stating, "we were slaves”.

The lyrics are bold and violent, as you would expect, “Blood” talks about the media leeching off people, draining them dry. The sound is raw, metallic, the video is filmed concert stile furthermore representing a cry for freedom and the need of support from the fans, as most of rock bands with a message need.
