"Black Mirror" Video Review

"Black Mirror" is the first single by Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire in the US from their second album Neon Bible (while "Keep the Car Running" is the first in the UK).

After three songs, the progression the Arcade Fire have made from Funeral seems clear - the lyrics here are almost unable (or unwilling) to escape the idea of death, and carry all the dark imagery you would expect. 'Black Mirror' itself sounds a little like how 'Rebellion (Lies)' would sound if the band had died and were playing it in the underworld.

The music video for "Black Mirror" has been made by Olivier Groulx and Tracy Maurice, who is also responsible for the art direction on Neon Bible and Funeral.
