Biz Markie Performs 'Just Unfriend' On Jimmy Kimmel

Rapper Biz Markie, who is best known for his 1989 hit 'Just A Friend', made an appearance on The Jimmy Kimmel Live Show last Thursday November 17^th to perform a new version of his successful track.  Markie, now forty seven years old, performed ‘Just Unfriend’, a Facebook rendition alongside some other well know celebrities that helped him launch into his song, per The Boombox.

Introduced by Jimmy Kimmel, Markie and the group were revealed from behind a curtain, with the show’s popular host cracking a joke. "National Unfriend Day obviously is sweeping the land. It's become a major holiday, it's even better than Arbor Day, I think.”

Appearing alongside Biz to kick off ‘Just Unfriend’, was long time comedian and actor Drew Carey, the recently engaged Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory fame, and The League TV series star Paul Scheer. With the good old Mom jokes and Facebook jokes about lame friends with no personalities, the group went back in forth with some banter before the performance started.

From there the Long Island rapper broke into the 2011 version donning a cape and wig, a few props he wore in the original video of 'Just a Friend'.

A snippet of the lyrics heard on Jimmy Kimmel - "Let me tell ya story, what happened to me/ It all started when I friended her on FB.  Oh baby you, don't got what I need/ So I say we just unfriend/ So I say we just unfriend."
