Rock band Beady Eye has announced that it will be performing as a live band in March 2011 at Barrowland in Glasgow. With this, the band will kick off a small European tour which will see them performing at Manchester, Paris, Milan, Cologne, Amsterdam and Madrid.

After coming together in 2009 at London, the band debuted with the release of their single "Bring the Light" in 2010. The band includes Liam Gallagher on vocals, Mat Jones on the keyboards, Jeff Wootton on bass, Andy Bell, Chris Sharrock and Gem Archer. The tour will start on March 3rd and 4th and then move on to O2 Apollo in Manchester on March 4th and 6th.

The band was formed after the former Oasis frontman reportedly had a huge tiff with his brother and band member Noel, which led to him walking out. The other bandmates of the Beady Eye are his former Oasis bandmates, which has made the absence of Noel all the more conspicuous.

The band will be playing new songs only. This fact has been confirmed by guitarist Gem when he said, "There will be no Oasis songs either, if you were going to ask."

Earlier, the band had put up their single "Bring the Light" for free download on their website, even before the launch of their first album.

The following is the tour schedule for the band:
