"Be A --Too" Video Review
The highly anticipated new music video for Nas' latest single "Be A Ni*ger Too" has finally got premiered on June 9. The new clip which was directed by Rik Cordero previously has been exclusively screened for journalists on May 29 at the Tribecca Grand Hotel in New York City.
Just like Rick said at the screening, the storyline of the video was inspired by Spike Lee's movie titled "25th Hour". The more than 8 minutes long clip starts with an introductory scene and after the title of the video emerged it switched on to Nas who was rapping at the mirror. The clip also features cameos from the likes of Seth Abrams, John Cho, and Andre Royal.
This controversial clip tells about racism as it can be seen by the footages that shown the feud between white people and black people. At the end of the clip, Nas was heard saying "F**k you Nas, you threw it all away." It was meant to reprise the words outed by people who has been criticizing him.
