In July 2012, the Backstreet Boys had used "Good Morning America" to announce that they are back together, and Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson teamed up on the same platform once again yesterday (August 31).

The quintet reunited on the ABC show and treated their predominantly female audience with live performance of some of their smash hit songs such as "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," "Larger than Life," "Incomplete" and "I Want It That Way."

The Backstreet Boys, who are now very much men, once again made full use of the opportunity to make some announcements. The group confirmed that their yet-untitled fifth studio album is under development, and Richardson, who re-joined the group earlier this year after a hiatus of six years, will also be a part of the new project.

BSB also told their Twitter followers that they are scheduled to go on a cruise trip next year. "Did you hear that? There will be a BSB cruise - with ALL 5 BOYS in 2013! #GMABackstreet #BSBCruise2013," they tweeted.

Their last studio album titled "This Is US" was released three years ago and the next one is expected to be released sometimes in 2013 to celebrate the group's 20th birthday.
