Ariana Grande Reveals Title, Release Date for ‘My Everything’
We’ve been hearing that Ariana Grande has a sophomore album in the works for a few months. With singles coming out or being announced, like “Problem” and “Break Free,” that appears fairly certain. Grande confirmed earlier statements this weekend by revealing her sophomore album is in the works – and when it’ll be out and what it’ll be called!
The singer with a big voice went on Twitter this weekend to tell her followers the title. She said: “my album is called my everything …. annddd there's more.”
“There’s more” turned out to be links to the album’s preorder page and to an interview with Ryan Seacrest. Out of this information, My Everything drops on August 25 – nearly a year after debut Yours Truly arrived – and those who preorder get access to stream her performance at the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party, in which she performed new songs on June 28.
Additionally, she told Seacrest that, along with the Iggy Azalea and Zedd collaborations, Big Sean appears on this release with track “Big Mistake.”
My Everything is the follow up to 2013’s Yours Truly, which peaked on the Billboard 200. The album, inspired by divas like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Amy Winehouse and conceived as a throwback to the ‘90s, generated three singles, including hit “The Way” with Mac Miller, “Right There,” and “Baby I.”
