"All Of The Lights" Video Review

Opposite of Britney Spears' "Hold It Against Me" video, which was promoted extensively moths before it's releases, Kanye West gave only an hour's notice, and launched the music video for "All Of The Lights".

The video features Rihanna And Kid Cudi and was directed by Hype Williams, who also worked with Kanye on a few other videos ("Stronger", "Can't Tell Me Nothing" or "Diamonds From Sierra Leone").

The beginning of the clip pays homage to Gaspar Noé's film, "Enter the Void" and shows a little girl walking through the snow on her way home, all of the scene shot in black and white. One thing leads to another, and we see Kanye West dancing on a police car, Kid Cudi rapping in a red leather jacket and Rihanna doing what she knows best.

Hype Williams proves that he understands the meaning of the song, and actually uses all of the lights in the form of strobes. Epileptics are advised to skip this one.

The song is taken from Kanye's fifth studio album, "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" and is also used in his 35-minute motion picture called "Runaway".
