Alicia Keys Talks about Her Son's Possible Crush on Beyonce and Jay-Z's Daughter
R&B superstar Alicia Keys believes that her two-year-old son Egypt possibly has a baby crush on Beyonce Knowles' one-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter and that Jay-Z is disapproving of the two babies' potential love affair.
The singer alternatively known as Lellow, also suspects that Egypt may have already smooched Bey junior. "I think Egypt kissed Blue...and I don't think Jay liked it very much," she confessed on "The Wendy Williams Show."
She further revealed that Jay-Z was so unimpressed with Egypt's antics that he called the boy's father Swizz Beatz to complain about it. "He called my husband and was like, 'Watch your son,'" Keys said.
The inter-baby kissing incident took place when Keys and Queen B brought them at the studios for their recording sessions. "We do bring our children to the studio and the kids will hang out," the "Girl on Fire" hitmaker said.
After divulging some info about Egypt's romancing, she then proceeded to shed some light on his talent with the piano. She said: "He loves the piano and plays very well. He holds his hands the right way. He's kind of good. I've seen him next to other 2-year-olds and I'm just saying."
That's not it. The celebrity child, who is apparently doing things way beyond his years, is also a big fan of NBA basketball.
"He's so adorable. I can't even tell you how huge of a basketball fan he is. You can't believe it. Like, he knows the whole starting lineup, he can say their numbers, he can say their names, and at night, he has a special song for Melo [Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks] that he sings...It's very cute," she added.
Lastly, she was asked when she and Beatz are planning to have a sibling for Egypt, to which she replied: "I definitely want more kids, I do. I would like to wait at least two years."
