Akon Releases New Single ‘Take It Down Low’ Featuring Chris Brown
Hip Hops biggest artist Akon has just released his new song Take It Down Low, featuring RNBs other elite male singer Chris Brown.
The song is slightly different from Akons well known club hits. The Polow Da Don-produced track still has the club vibe but slightly harbors an electronic touch that resembles Browns latest work (F.A.M.E.) more than Akons usual style.
The I Wanna Love You-singer, whose last big release was last years Angel, has sold over nine million albums worldwide and has had more than 35 US Billboard Hot 100 hits, between 2004 to date.
Starting off in the pop genre seven years ago, with songs like Lonely and Ghetto, Akon quickly established himself as one of the most iconic Hip Hop artist, with hits like Smack that in 2006 and Right Now (Na Na Na) in 2008, some of the biggest club tunes of the last decade.
Although his last album Freedom was released back in 2008, Akon has been more than present on the music scene in the past three years, releasing big hits like Im so paid with Lil Wayne, and Beautiful with Colby ODonis, as well as featuring on other artists singles like David Guettas Sexy B***h and his latest Famous with Nick Cannon.
Now he has joined forces with Breezy, who is enjoying the success of his newly released album F.A.M.E. Take it Down Low will be the first song from Akons fourth studio album Stadium which is due in September 2011.
