Adele to Record James Bond "Skyfall" Theme Song
There have been some memorable Bond songs over the years from Duran Duran’s “A View to a Kill,” Tina Turner’s “Goldeneye” and, of course, Paul McCartney & Wings’ "Live and Let Die." With the sheer number of Bond flicks, it only makes sense that we don’t remember all of them (especially since some are way better than others).
The theme song for the upcoming installment, Skyfall, may be one that makes quite an impression.
British superstar, Adele, has agreed to record the track and she was even spotted at Abbey Road Studios sometime earlier in the month where the score for Skyfall is being created by composer, Thomas Newman.
While Newman has some impressive credentials, having written the scores for Wall-E, The Shawshank Redemption and Revolutionary Road, Adele has an even bigger reputation for delivering the goods.
It was late last year during an interview on the Jonathan Ross Show when Adele first hinted at the possibility that she may sing the Bond theme
The film will be released on November 9, 2012.
