Adele Takes Home Top Honors at Grammys

Foo Fighters, Bon Iver also big winners last night, Jennifer Hudson performs Whitney Houston tribute.

Adele came out in true comeback form last year at the 54th annual Grammy Awards where the British singer and 2011 Billboard artist of the year performed for the last time since last November after undergoing throat surgery to remove a benign poplyp on her vocal cord.

Not only was her performance not a disappointment, but she went home with all six Grammys she was nominated for, including the Big Three: Song and Record of the Year for "Rolling in the Deep" and Album of the Year for 21. In her acceptance speech, she thanked "the doctors who brought my voice back."

Last night's performance also included a tribute to Whitney Houston, who died in a Los Angeles hotel on Saturday night. Jennifer Hudson performed Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You," a song Whitney Houston made her own on The Bodyguard soundtrack.
