English singer-songwriter, Adele, has just released another new single from her forthcoming "21" album. The new single "Set Fire to the Rain", is a very piano-driven track which shows off her magnificent powerful voice.

"But there's a side to you that I never knew, never knew/ All the things you say, they were never true, never true/ And the games you play, you would always win, always win/ But I set fire to the rain, watch it pour as I touch your face," sings the Grammy-winning artist.

The first single, previously released from the upcoming album is a revenge tune, "Rolling in the Deep". Adele has described it as a "dark bluesy gospel disco tune." The song was released to some US radio stations during November 2010.

More than two years ago, Adele released her critically-acclaimed debut album "19", and influenced by the changes that mere living causes, has written lyrics that are definitely now more mature. And two years after "19" comes "21". In commenting about the album, she said, "It's different from '19', it's about the same things but in a different light. I deal with things differently now."

She continued, "I'm more patient, more honest, more forgiving and more aware of my own flaws, habits and principles. Something that comes with age I think. So fittingly this record is called '21'. The whole reason I called my first album '19' was about cataloguing what happened to me then and who I was then, like a photo album you see the progression and changes in a person throughout the years."

Her new album is due out next week.

Adele has also been lined up to perform at the 2011 BRIT Awards - a live ceremony on February 15 at London's The O2 complex. The BRIT Awards is the UK's most prestigious music event. Other megastars performing live on the night include Rihanna, Cee-Lo, and groups Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons, Take That and Plan B.
