Adam Lambert's 'Strut' Music Video
Former American Idol finalist, Adam Lambert, has just released a snippet from his upcoming live album "Glam Nation Live". The online preview is for his performance of 'Strut', during which he struts around on the stage with a cane, occasionally breaking into dance with two girls and a boy.
The live album, which will be released on CD and DVD, was filmed at a concert at Clowes Hall in Indianapolis during his Glam Nation Tour. It is expected that the album will be available on March 22.
The Glam Nation Tour has been hailed as one of the more successful tours of 2010; in fact many fans went to more than one performance.
Last week, Adam returned to his old stamping ground of "American Idol" where he was able to continue to impress his fans with an acoustic version of his single 'Aftermath' from his debut album "For Your Entertainment". The audience reacted with screams when he hit the high notes.
Immediately after his performance, Lambert talked with "Idol" show host, Ryan Seacrest, and chatted about "Aftermath" and the official dance-club remix. After the show, the remixed single went on sale with parts of the proceeds are going to The Trevor Project - an organisation focusing on crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
The other musical guest on the show that night was P. Diddy with his group Diddy-Dirty Money who performed their chart smashing hit 'Coming Home'.
A new studio album is also in the making. When asked by The Hollywood Reporter about this new project, he said, "With [For Your Entertainment], I really wanted to go high glam; it was always a vibe and a concept I was in love with and I did it for a year. I think evolution is good and I'm attracted to the slightly more serious... not so much fantasy or a mask put on - which is fun, great f***ing rock-n-roll - but I'm very drawn to music and artists that are singing from the heart about real things."
