A Place to Bury Strangers Announce New Album
Noise rock band A Place to Bury Strangers has announced a new album, Worship, which will be released June 26 in the U.S. and June 11 in the U.K. and Europe via Dead Oceans.
The album is a follow-up to 2009's Exploding Head, and the first full-length release for their new label, following this year's Onwards to the Wall EP. The album was written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by the band themselves.
Guitarist Dion Lunadon told Death + Taxes, "The album... is our vision of what our music should sound like in 2012, not someone else's interpretation. Every sound on the album is made by us and our tools; tools created by us, used on no other recordings, and purposefully built for this project... We are not trying to reinvent ourselves, but simply push ourselves further in all aspects of our music."
